The division of Creation is a combination of two pairs of opposites, made up by the top-members of the ennead (1 – 4; 2 – 3):

The scheme in Memphis (Sakkara), south of Cairo, is different, although there are also nine gods involved. The southern influence of (the eight gods of) Hermopolis is joined here with Ptah (the creating god) into a unit of nine. The text which describes this event is engraved into the ‘Shabaka Stone‘, around 700 BC. and now in the British Museum. The sources of this text are much older and go back from the First to the Fourth Dynasty (2925 – 2450 BC.).
The suggestion in fig. 81 is an effort to visualize the spiritual development of the gods of Memphis, who reached a strong presence in the Nineteenth Dynasty (1307 – 1196 BC.), under pharaohs like Seti I and Ramses II.
The primal unity, the god Horus (I), generates a primary four-fold division, represented by his sons (II). The two-fold division of Ptah and Sechmet (III) makes up the visible part of the spectrum and is – later – jointed by Nefertum to form a trinity, sometimes expanded by Imhotep, the builder of the step pyramid of Zoser (2630 BC.), into a tetradic pluriformity. The third quadrant (III), as the position of the physical observations and creations, remains the most important. Pta, ‘the very great one’, is historically the centre-point, who joins with the local goddess Sechmet, shaped as a lion.
Look at the fourfold image to the right of the pyramid complex of the Old Kingdom Egypt. "The pyramid complex in the Old Kingdom can be seen as a four-staged journey to holiness. The mental movement follows the light from the east (where the sun comes up) to the west (where the sun goes down) and can be divided in four stages:
1. The temple near the river Nile connects the living with earth, water and day-to-day life;
2. The (covered) road represents the choice in a visible world and leads in a linear direction towards the holy;
3. The temple of the dead in front of the pyramid is the preparation at the end of the road;
4. The pyramid is the ultimate four-fold manifestation of the world of the dead and afterlife on this world."

Martin Kuilman articulates the fourfold nature of the Egyptian pantheon
"The cyclic nature in the four-fold division of the world of the gods is well developed in northern Egypt (Heliopolis), and particularly in the later dynasties (GOFF, 1979; WOLDERING, 1981). The framework of the supra-natural universe is a combination of two- and fourfold units adding up to a nine-fold unity, the so-called ‘Ennead of Heliopolis’ (fig. 80). Breakout is based on the idea of a single-player version of Pong. All horses move naturally with four basic gaits: the four-beat walk, which averages 6.4 kilometers per hour (4.0 mph); the two-beat trot or jog, which averages 13 to 19 kilometers per hour (8.1 to 12 mph)); and the leaping gaitsknown as the canter or lope a three-beat gait that is 19 to 24 kilometers per hour (12 to 15 mph), and the gallop a four beat movement which averages 40 to 48 kilometers per hour (25 to 30 mph). Mozart used a four note figure as the basis of his Jupiter symphony. I described that the God's Jupiter and Zeus were represented by the number four. Mozart used this four note figure in many symphonies. As I discussed, symphonies originally were usually three movements, but by the time of Mozart they became four movements. The fourth is transcendent. Mozart's teacher was the "Father of the string quartet". Quartet is four.

James Horner is a composer who is famous for his four note "danger motif". The youtube video to the right shows many examples of the motif that he recycles in many movies, yet a lot of people say they still love it even when they hear it again and again.

Tetra is four. Tetracyclics are used in psychiatry. There is the dichotomy between tricyclics in psychiatry and tetracyclics once again. Similarly there are trivalent and quadrivalent vaccines. Quadrivalent are rare and different/transcendent. Quadrivalent vaccines fight against four different viruses, whereas trivalent three.

Drosophilia melanogaster is used as a model organism in biological studies because it is very simple, haivng four pairs of chromosomes. The fourth pair is different from the previous three. I remember my biology professor at UCSD mentioning the fruit fly and saying that it was used because of its four chromosomes.

Le labo had 16 fragrances, 15 and the transcendent 15th. A tea place I went to had 12 plus four (three plus one) flavours on Abbot Kinney. At Toms on Abbot Kinney the sold four products that they advertised on the window as four figures, and the money from those four would go to four separate charities related to the products. I had seen soda machines with four by four options in quadrant formation. I have seen a lot of beauty products where they have three regular ones and a fourth transcendent one. Proactiv kind of works on that format. On my quadrant pages, especially on FaceBook, you can see a lot of examples of the three plus one phenomena in reality. I have heard a pastor give a sermon that the watch/clock is divided into four parts like the cross.
The word kike, a derogatory word against Jews, comes from the word circle. When Jews came to America, a lot of them did not know how to spell their names, so they were supposed to make X's if they were not able to spell. But instead of making X's, Jews made O's, so as not to make a form that resembled the cross. During the middle ages Jews would add a fifth vault line to the four vault line ceilings because they did not want there to be a cross/quadrant on the ceiling, which might be interpretted as christian. The word kike was born on Ellis Island when there were Jewish migrants who were also illiterate (or could not use Latin alphabet letters). When asked to sign the entry-forms with the customary "X", the Jewish immigrants would refuse, because they associated an X with the cross of Christianity. Instead, they drew a circle as the signature on the entry-forms. The Yiddish word for "circle" is kikel (pronounced KY-kul), and for "little circle", kikeleh (pronounced KY-kul-uh). My friend told me a tradition where if you see a penny of Abraham Lincoln, you are supposed to pick up the penny, and make an X where you picked it up. The x is a symbol of the cross. Abraham Lincoln and four other presidents are on Mt. Rushmore in a three plus one pattern.

Photograph 51 is the nickname given to an X-ray diffraction image of DNA taken by Raymond Gosling in May 1952, working as a PhD student under the supervision of Rosalind Franklin,[1][2][3][4] at King's College London in Sir John Randall's group. James Watson was shown the photo by Maurice Wilkins without Rosalind Franklin's approval or knowledge (although by this time Gosling had returned to the supervision of Wilkins). In 1962, the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was awarded to Watson, Crick and Wilkins. Nakashatras have four parts and Hindus name their children based off of these four parts. Muslims even have a ritual they do on the fourth day of the fourth month fourth year so on and so fourth. I forgot it now though.
The letters ascribed to each quarter of Nakshatra is a later day development just to know the degree of Nakshatra for calculating the Dasha of planets and it has no meaning whatsoever . For example if you have 10 employees , you may use their name for identification but when you have hundreds of employees , then you allot an employee number for distinguishing the similar names .
Astrologers in old days of poor literacy rate among people, decided to divide all 27 nakshatra into four parts called "Pada" or steps , so there would be 108 parts of total zodiac of 360 degrees and 12 Rashis. This way each rashi had 9 parts while each Nakshatra had 4 parts of 3 degree 20 minutes each . This corresponded to Navansh ( D-9) Chart also.

In Plato's Republic Plato discusses the four virtues. Wisdom, courage, moderation, and justice. Justice is described as transcendent and even encompassing the previous three. Plato originally suggests a three class society but later he says that it won't work. He hints at a fourth class by creating a thought experiment where you put the three classes, representing a human and two animals, into another human, creating a fourth that the other three go into. Plato also discusses four regimes that fit the quarant model pattern. The third is democracy and has too much freedom/ the artisan temperament. The fourth is the tyranny which Plato says is ruled by a philosopher tyrant. The fourth is related to the ratinal temperament. Timocracy he says there is a secret worship of gold, but all in all it is kind of good. The first square is always good. The idealist temperament is the first square, and idealists, and idealists are kind of communistic like the timocracy, but they also do look up to authroity and may "secretely worship gold". Oligarchy is the second regime which is characterized by being rigid and orderly. It is represented by the guardian temperament. Ultimately Socrates says that none of these governments work. These are, according to him the four forms of government that currently exist. He suggests that a fifth questionable government could be established which he tries to articulate in the Republic. It is kind of like a Kingdom of God. The fifth is always ultra transcendent. Like Plato, Aristotle describes four types of government that currently exist, and they fit the same quadrant pattern. SCORSESE CRUCIFORM POSE
If you’re a man in a Martin Scorsese movie, you’re probably going to strike a very familiar pose, with your arms stretching out perpendicular to your torso. In other words, a position very similar to Jesus on the cross.
